Broad line of cream scales filling indentation at posterior margin of eye, occiput densely scaled.
Thorax. Collar yellow. Very broad distinct laterothoracic stripe of dense long white scales. Scutum black; with very long reddish-brown scales, hair-like anteriorly, broad transparent posteriorly, setae black; long yellow setae anteriorly; Ma on AN yellow, PN yellow, black ventrally; long, slightly iridescent, yellowish-pink scales at base of wing; AN with white scales and setae. Pleural hairs yellow. Scales on APA yellow. LT with Ma yellow ventrally, white dorsally and medially. Plumula and TR with dense long silvery-white scales. Scutellum red, narrow black area basally; with scales transparent yellow anteriorly, cream posteriorly, sparse white scale fringe on posterior margin; black setae. Legs red, tarsi darker; with scales yellow, red on fore-femur and ventrally on hind-femur, long slightly protruding on hind-tibia. Microchaetae on fore-tarsi straight. Pulvilli curved sharp cones, more than 1/3 length of mid- and hind-tarsal claws. Halter knob yellow. Wing.Widened base of C with yellow scales. Wing pattern brown, broad basal infuscation following R proximal to i-r1 to wing margin in basal 1/2 of anal cell; indented in 1st r2+3, short medial lobe into dc, extension along R4+5; apical lobe or large irregular infuscated spot in apex of dc over base of m-m; cup infuscated along basal 2/3, anal basal 1/2; hyaline apex. Alula and squama edged with dense long white scales.
Abdomen. Tergites red with medial black triangular band on T2-5, T2 with broad band basally > 1/2 width of abdomen, tapering apically, T3-5 with narrow band < 1/8 width tergite. Scales reddish-brown except T3 with broad white anterior band; T6-7 with sparse white scales; creamy-yellow anterior band on T2, admixed medially on T5. T1 with white Ma.
